Thomas M. Moran

With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Tom is ranked as the #1  Financial Advisor in the State of Florida by Barron's1. For the past seven years, Barron's1 also ranked him as one of the top 100 Advisors in the Nation.

Tom was included in the 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017 Financial Times Top 400 Advisors list2, which recognizes the top financial advisors at broker-dealers across the United States.

Other recent industry accolades include Tom's inclusion on the Forbes magazine 2018 Top Wealth Advisor List3. Tom was also selected as a Top 100 Wirehouse Advisor as ranked by WealthManagement.com4.

As a Senior PIM Portfolio Manager and Managing Director – Investments, as well as a member of the firm’s Advisory Council for fee-based money management and trust services, Tom is well-known and respected throughout Wells Fargo Advisors and often lectures before financial professionals and individual organizations throughout the nation on the economy and financial markets. In 2015, Tom was honored with the Wells Fargo Advisors Spirit Award5 as the Wells Fargo Volunteer of the Year.

Tom is often invited to share his insights with numerous leading industry publications, including Barron's and Gulfshore Business. He has authored articles on a variety of financial and economic topics for local and national industry magazines. Portfolios managed by Tom have been nationally recognized for their performance, including the Millenium Portfolio, which was ranked #1 by Lipper Marketplace6 in two asset classes for the 12 quarters ending December 31, 2016.

Tom is deeply engaged in the Naples community and is a passionate supporter of numerous organizations. He serves on the Executive Advisory Board of the United Arts Council and the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples, the Naples Board of Advisors for the James Madison Institute, and is Chairman Emeritus of the Board for Opera Naples. Because of his exemplary commitment to the community, The Education Foundation of Collier County recognized Tom as one of their 2010 Men of Distinction. In 2015 Naples Daily News included Tom as one of their first 25 over 50 honorees in recognition of his philanthropic efforts and achievements. In 2016, Tom was honored with the Invest in Others Community Leadership Award, which recognizes the charitable work of financial advisors.

Tom and his wife of 30 years, Sandi, are Trustees for the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF), which organizes the nationally acclaimed Naples Winter Wine Festival. The Moran's were co-chairs of the 2015 and 2016 Festivals; both years the Festival has earned the distinction of being the #1 charitable wine festival in the United States. The couple has proudly underwritten events for a lengthy list of charitable and arts-oriented organizations.

In recognition of their remarkable work and impact within the Naples community, Tom and Sandi received the 2010 Philanthropist of the Year’s Lifetime Achievement award and in 2012 were honored by Gulfshore Life magazine as Men and Women of the Year. In 2015, the United Arts Council recognized Tom and Sandi as Stars in the Arts for their dedication to education in the arts for local children.

Their daughter is a Williams College Honors graduate, and a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors. Their eldest son is a Cornell University graduate and is now pursuing his PhD at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Their youngest son attends Harvard University. Tom graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Colorado.

With over 30 years as a financial advisor Bob has been recognized by Barron’s1 as the #2 Advisor in Southwest Florida for the past five years and one of the Top 1,200 Advisors for 2014 and 2015 and Top 1,000 Advisors for 2011, 2012 and 2013.

In addition to advising an affluent Naples clientele, Bob counsels other wealth managers. He is a frequent industry speaker, addressing investment professionals in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Orlando, Philadelphia and San Diego. Portfolios managed by Bob have received national rankings in Thomson-Reuters’ Lipper Marketplace Best Money Managers including the Strategic Equity Blend portfolio for its 10-year track record through 2013.

A resident of Naples for more than 40 years, Bob serves the community as a board member of Artis–Naples , The Baker Museum and as a trustee for the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF). He is also on the boards of Sculpture magazine (Washington DC), and the Guggenheim Museum (Venice, Italy).

Bob and his wife Terry, were recently selected as “2015 Stars in the Arts” by the United Arts Council for their long standing commitment to the visual arts both locally and world-wide. Bob and Terry have underwritten events locally at Artis–Naples, The Baker Museum, The Naples Art Association at the von Liebig, the Shelter for Abused Women & Children and the Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speaker Series, as well as art exhibits in several major Florida museums.

In recognition of their commitment to our community, Bob and Terry were chosen as of Gulfshore Life magazine’s 2013 “Men and Women of the Year” and Bob was selected as one of Naples Illustrated magazine’s celebrated “Super Men” in 2013. In 2015, he was selected by the Naples Daily News to be in its first “25 Over 50” class of accomplished leaders honored for their vision, talent and impact on our community.

Collectors of modern art, the Edwards’ art-filled home is a regular stop for visiting museum groups and often hosts patron events for non-profit organizations.

Their youngest son attends Vanderbilt University, their daughter recently graduated from Columbia University and will be working abroad, and their eldest son, a graduate with an MBA from the University of Notre Dame College of Business, works in Naples. Members of Bay Colony Golf Club, the Edwards are not only art lovers, they’re also dog lovers, and count their two Great Danes as part of the family.

Financial Advisor July 27, 1970 – December 19, 2013

Jennifer spent 15 years with the Moran Edwards Asset Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors and was a member of the Executive Management team. She was a dedicated and gifted team member, and her love for her profession was evident to everyone she worked alongside.
